CV driveshaft

Just got my new highangle driveline and installed it, but am worried about the length. The beginning of the splines can be seen on the slip part of the shaft. What do you guys think of this? Is it okay?

Looks like it sjhoudl be a few inches longer

Mine only has maybe 1" of the shaft showing if that gives you any idea.
