I was wondering what part of the driveshaft you grinded off to stop the shaft from grinding on a blazer with a 6 inch lift. Pic's would be greatly appreciated. If not then a detailed description would be just as good. Thanks in advance. BTW, Love the site.

You grind off the edges that touch each other when you try to flex it out. Take it off, bend the CV, and you'll see where it's touching. Take off all those edges and then look for any more interference. Take all of that off too. Don't go nuts, but don't be shy. I wish I had pictures, but this really isn't an exact science anyway.

Don't be shy, because if it binds, it'll break for sure.

ary to steel this post but had a question also...Can I remove the unjoints from the cvjoint and replace those myself? Do you beat them out like a typical ujoint and is there groves for the retainer rings? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif thanks

Does anybody have any pic's, because I have already grinded a little but i am afraid to go to far and mess up the shaft.
