CV shaft, just yoke no flange??

I am wondering if there was ever a stock application in which they used a 1350 series u-joint with no flange, sorat something like the picture attached.

I am asking this because i would like to make a cheap cv shaft to run in the rear for now, instead of getting a round one made(want to find tune everything)

i don't know if it is 1350 series but the front shaft on my 74 has a shaft like that with the yolk on the tcase

So np203 cases have no front flange all through the years?

some years have a front flange, i had a 79 with a 203 and it had the flange but my 74 203 does not

Hmm that will make it interesting to find, anyone know if any of the other big three ran these types of driveshafts?

Ford has been known to use a 1330 CV (yoke style).... '78 & '79 especially. Bronco used it on the rear too.

I believe the 1350 CV used on the 99+ Superduty is a flange type.
