found some heads on craigs list near me here are the specs the guy is saying.

Fresh Chevy Small Block Heads for sale.
These are all ready to bolt on and go

Had alot of work and money put into them. Installed and ran not even 10 minutes before the project took another turn.

Chevy info:
Engine Sizes 350-400
Years 74-80
Combustion Chamber Size 76cc
Ports Size 160/60cc
Valve Size 1.94/1.5

now should the year matter? i have an 86 i was wanting to put them on, and also would the port size and valve size be good for a mild off road/dd truck? and would comp cams 4x4 cam work with these? thanks

You would be best to get the casting numbers from the heads. Those heads could be just about anything.

In order for the heads to fit 350-400 the heads would HAVE to be 400 heads as they have steam holes for the siamesed cylinders. You can use 400 heads on a 350 but not the other way around unless you drill the steam holes.
