Okay, I have about $1,200 to $1,500 to spend on new heads and an intake. Must pass smog though, I live in Cali. need some help though. I know that world castings has two heads that are 50 state legal. THe S/R Torquer and the Sportsman 2. I know a decent amount about engines. What should I go with. I am 99% sure that I have Hyraulic cams and lifters. Engine is '86 350. What cc size should i go with and I have straight plugs right? (can't see, blazer is out being painted) It is a dd, so what will work out best? On the intake though I would go w/ the edelbrock performer intake. On all of these what is best for my use. I am on a high school so cant really go above 1,500. How much am I looking to spend after heads, intake, gaskets, rods, (anything else i'm forgetting). Will my 700r4 hold up. The engine is completely stock right now. Please help me.
