D 44 and D 60 Combo?

What do you all think of a Dana 44 (8 lug) and a dana 60 combo? Think it would be tough enough for rock crawling?
Im just thinking of clearance issues with the "BULLETPROOF"
d 60 front 14 bolt rear.

the dana 60 rear is going to be hard to find, up to 73 3/4 or 1 ton trucks had them but you might also be able to make one work out of a late model ford van or dodge. i would rather have the 60 than a 14 but the 14 is so easy to find and CHEAP! and you can always shave the pig.

Finding a rear 60 will be way easier then finding a front 60 that is for sure though if you go with that combo.....
