Where are the cheap conversions for DRW to SRW....Or, Why is it necessary to run a SRW disc if modifying the DRW piece?

Can the DRW hub be modified at home using hand tools?????

I am building an engine and wanting to install axle at the same time, but really not enough $$$$ to do both right at this time....

hey im looking for some srw hubs too, you can get them on ebay for about 300 bucks, thats what ive seen. in pirate 4x4 the dana 60 bible explains how you need to convert the drw to sw hubs but you need a lathe, a pritty large one too boot i was thinking about converting mine, i work in a machine shop but even then it seems not worht the trubble you not only have to turn off the lug mounts but weld a disk to strengthin the disk tabs as well, id say look on ebay

I bet a plasma cutter would do the trick too....
