hey guys, my front driveshaft hits the y-pipe. is there a cheap fix to this? i have a feeling that a custom y-pipe would be a bit.
thanks

Go to autozone. Buy an elbow. Cut out the y-pipe where it hits. Weld in the elbow. Cut out less than the length of the elbow. Bought me an extra inch of clearance for about $5 and 10 mins.

u may laugh, but it actually is out. :haha:

i want to get it back in cuz i want to sell this baby and buy a diesel truck, and build it up better than this one. i know a lot more now than i did 6months ago when i started buildin this one.

plus i need a diesel!

I had an exhaust shop chop it out and bend a new one up. I think it was like $30.

that sounds good to me. i like the price. need as much money from this truck as i can get so i can build up a diesel. :D

Go to a mom and pop exhaust shop it will be cheaper. Merlins quoted me like 200 bux, took it to a guy in town 25 bucks :thumb:
