Does the D44/10Bolt hub locknut tool fit the D60 locknuts too? Someone told me to replace my 14Bolt locknuts with D60 ones and I just wanted to know if I needed another socket.

The 14BFF and D60 socket are the same though. They are both 6 tooth whereas the D44/10b are 4 tooth. :D

The socket I have works on all 3, 10 bolt, 14 bolt and D60. It's got an inner part that has 4 teeth, and the outer part has 6 teeth.

the 60 nut is square teeth and the 14ff ones i have seen are round teeth. but there is lots of axles out there might just be some others.

also make sure the socket you buy has the cutouts for the inner nut with the pin. lots of cheepy sockets dont and will snap the pin off.

No problem, I just wanted to make sure I didn't buy what some genius "thought" were D60 locknuts.

Yep as everyone on here has said already the Dana 60 front has 4 square slots in the nut. They look just like Dana 44/10 bolt nuts but the Dana 60 nuts are quite a bit larger. I got my socket from Autozone for about $20. The reason I used Dana 60 nuts on my 14FF is I like the pin style lock better than the bent tab style.
