I have a '75 D44 with flat-tops (not machined), 8-lug hubs, and direct drive inserts. Everything is apart now, so the whole thing can be bought, or just parts. If I part it I'll have no problems taking a torch to it if someone needs a center section or etc. It has 3.73 gears, open.

Interested in the 8-lug hubs. Are they internal locking? What are direct drive inserts? Condition of them? Price and shipping to 92627?
The hubs are internal, the inserts replace the lockouts so it's always is locked in, they came stock on the old 203 trucks. The hubs are really off a '79 10 bolt, they are in good condition and have the rotors still on them. Shipping I will need to check soon as I get time.
