If ya get to parting them out, I'd be interested in knuckles.

Too much to ship the whole axle.

Is the '79 a flat top knuckle axle like the 72's?

I've notice on this board that the price range for flat top is pretty big so a respectable offer would work.

I'm not going to part them out for 35 to 50. All three came out of stock trucks that never had lifts and still have the stock steering arm attach

It is possible those prices I mentioned were low, like I said they are just the ones I had come across just before seeing your post. I'll fish around and get a better feel for a fair price.

Sent your PM back. If one is a 8 lug, I'd probably also be interested in,

Spindles, bearings, hubs, wheel studs and lug nuts. The rotors are not needed.

Got some more and better pics of the '79 axle?

From the looks of the pic, its not a '79 but rather a pre-'77 axle. The caliper backing plates are the 1st design which puts it in the pre-'77 category.

Measure the tubes. If they're 2.75" in diameter, its 1st design.
Check the position of the stabilizer mount on the tube. If its by the passenger side spring perch, its 1st design. If in the middle, its 2nd design.

Check the tie rod. If the threads point down, its 1st design. If they point up, 2nd design.

I'm betting the '79 is actually an older axle.

The only 8lug d-44 that I have is a closed knuckle with 4:56
I have one corp 10 8 lug 4:10, I'm not going to part this one out.

I'm probably wrong on the 79 witch wouldn't be the first time i was wrong or the last, but it is d44 and a flat top.
