D44 front all time 4wd?

i was looking at a d44 with all time 4wd hubs. the guy didnt know what it came out of or what year it is. the knuckles have the same steering arm as a 10b. is it possible to swap a 10b 8lug rotor / hub / brake onto the spindle?

It depends on the spindle size. Dana 44s had 2 different size spindles with different bearings and spacings. The large spindle is the same size as a 10 Bolt. Those axles came in 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks with a 203.

thanks.... it has a matching 14bff with a 203 off to the side. those were the only pieces he had left of the truck.

If it has a matching 14FF should it not already be 8 lug? I would say get all of it if you can then find a 205 and you are set

its 8 lug, but all time 4wd. there is no way to switch it into 2wd. well hes got all this stuff for sale and wants it gone. i just didnt want to get stuck with another odd ball axle.

are you saying it has slugs instead of selectable hubs? or just that its from a 203 setup?

should be able to put lockouts on it.

Sounds to me like it has slugs and is from a 203 setup. Personally I would pick it up and yes you can remove those slugs and put lockouts on it.
