The most annoying thing about swapping the D44 and the D60 gears is that you have to use a case extender tool to get the gears back in. .......it bolts into the case/diff. holes and then acts like a chest sreader and allows the case to "open" up those litle fractions of an inch to allow the carrier and ring to get back in. ....there is a good article that is osted on this board about changing gears to...
