Maybe I'm dumb but what is a jantz joint:confused:

Yukon's version of a super joint. It's the joint they recommend you run in their chromoly shafts to keep the warranty. You can run others such as CTM or OX, but these are just as strong, and cheaper to boot. :)

My friend just got a pair in and they are top notch. No bushings to spit out, no needle bearings to fail.

Are these available for d60.

I spoke with Yukon, they are in production and slated to hit the market in April. Then again, they were supposed to be out by now too.

Is the above a typo? Did you mean "Yukon's version is the Super Joint"? As far as I know, Jantz (former Boeing engineer guy) designed the joint... and sold it as the Jantz Joint... later he sold the rights to the design to Yukon... which markets it as the Yukon "Super Joint". Could be wrong I guess. Good joints in either case, and yes, they are bushingless. They use high end grease and a bling coating to keep the coefficient of friction low.

Nope, not a typo, and you are correct. Yukon now makes them. Carl Jantz has nothing to do with them now. Yukon designed the 60 joints, so basically, Yukon makes and sells them now. Yes, they call them a "Super Joint", but most people still know them as a Jantz Joint.

Clear as mud?;)
