I am looking for a drivers side D44 knuckle from a chevy. I got my set of flat tops from a Jeep (or something) and the drivers side is not drilled for a steering arm.

I don't need the passenger knuckle, just a drivers. So if anyone in AZ has one laying around from a crossover swap let me know. Thanks

Harley

You gotta watch trying to get them to match. Some had the TRE's mount with nutz up or down, and some even had the knuckles made different so one arm might be higher than the other. If you don't find one like you need I have a matched pair of flat tops from a Chevy disc set-up that hasn't been machined or drilled yet.

no, I have my 10 bolt knuckles on the axle I got off you, but I want to get a chevy drivers side knuckle that way i could go to high steer crossover if I felt like it one day. Don't think I will, but i want to keep that option open in case I do. So I have to find a D44 Chevy drivers side kncukle.

I have one from a 78 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif $10 plus the ride

I need this to be local so i can make sure that it is the right knuckle to match my passenger side knuckle. thanks though

Ok let me know. By the way why do you need a steering arm on the drivers side if you are building crossover? Just doing a little at a time I guess huh /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

TTT for ya

I need to replace my ball joints now, but I don't have the money for all the crossover parts so I want to swap on my D44 knuckles with new ball joints and still be able to run standard steering for now.

Plus it leaves the option open of hi-steer down the road if I want to go that way.
