Hey there. I bought a 86 blazer with a 14ff rear and 10 bolt front axle. The 10 bolt has 8 lug hubs on it and the guy gave me a D44 that is disassembled with the blazer. I think he put the D44 hubs on the 10 bolt but not the knuckles. The passenger knuckle that came with the disassembled D44 has been milled and drilled for a crossover steering set up but it didn't come with a tie rod. I would like to switch the knuckles so I can put on the crossover steering set up but don't know if I can reuse the tie rod from the 10 bolt. If so does it go above or below the "arms" on the knuckle. Thanks!

generally, d44's mount below the arm, 10b's mount above it. but as with everything GM, this is certainly not gospel.
