I have just finished rebuilding my D60 and now its time for and alignment. I called 4wheelparts here in Houston and they gave me the name of a place here in town that they use. I called to get a price and to set the toe $60. I asked how much it was to set it all (camber, caster, and toe) and it was $240. I asked what was involved in setting the camber/caser and he stated they bend the axle or knuckle to set those.
Does this sound right? I don’t mind paying for it if that’s what I need and it’s a safe way of doing it. It beats buying new front tires every 1000 miles. I might have misunderstood what he was going to bend but I know he said he was going to have to bend something.
