Figure someone might be interested in this. It's in Oklahoma City. Its not mine...I found this in the paper this morning. Add says

"D60 front, 14 bolt rear end, $400 (405) 368-3152 or (405) 388-4913"

They got to be in pretty bad shape not to be worth that.

Strike while the iron is hot!!! a friend told me that once. deals are there to be had. i've sold stuff worth a lot for a little before too.

BUY BUY BUY!!!!

man, people are still asking $1000-1500 for that setup out here.

Called the guy, the d60 is gone. He still has the 14b it's a sf for anyone who is intrested.

Pretty sure he did, when I asked about the d60 he said" Yep it's sold, the first ole boy that called on it came it snatched it up quick" :doah:I bet he did. Told me he just wants to get rid of the 14bolt, prolly take $100. I bet he sold that d60 for 300. I've been checking the okc craigslist everyday for two months, didn't think to check the paper. oh well

I'll bet that it wasn't even a D60. Most people that list a pair of axles for sale are usually from the same vehicle and a 14sf axle was never mated with a D60 AFAIK. My guess is, it wasn't a D60 AND the buyer didn't know what he was looking for and only went on what the seller said it was.

Not everyone pays Cali prices. I didn't spend a nickel for either of my 60's.

Not every cheap 60 is a 44 or someone not knowing what it is etc. It could be just what it is a cheap 60. What the **** do you think my point is?

You made it sound like i made some kind of reference to Cali pricing on D60's. The D60 could also have been a DRW which brings alot less money.

I agree with Scott. Who sells a D60F and a 14BSF as a pair?

I'm not saying there isnt great deals out there. I bought mine for $400, but the guy had no idea what it was.

true.. you beat me out on that one though for $400 wow....
I paid $500 but it came with a 79 1 ton fully running 350/turbo 400 on 38" gumbo mudders..

deals are out there... nice to find them....

There are deals out there for sure... greeniek30 on this site picked his rig up for $500 and drove it home iirc. Tons and a 454 thats been heavily modded since. On the other hand I answered a add on a d60 for $300, hauled a$$ to get it only to find it was a d44... kid had no idea, just "believed" the guy he bought it from. You never know if you don't hunt for those deals.

I got my 60/14 combo for $600 delivered to my house. had them on cl listed as dana 70 axles, and thats it. i called and asked questions and got em.
it pays to ask questions, and follow every lead.
