why is the pinion taken apart on the 14bff ?
I didnt think you needed to take thepinion off to see what gears they are?
so they are a confirmed 4:10's ?
apparently he didn't know how to count pinion turns versus wheel turns or to read the ring gear for the ratio or just count the teeth on each. i was baffled why he took it apart also.
Wow guys i just pulled it apart to make sure all the gears were in good shape and nothing was wrong with them.. and yes i did confirm that they are 4:10's I assure you these axles are in good shape and nothing is wrong with them...
Well just curious. its not often you see the pinion apart.
Plus its a pain in the azz to put back together correctly with setting up the end play and whatnot.
