Just as the title says, what is the axle tube diameter on a front D60? I would rather not go outside in the cold rainy weather to measure if I can avoid it. My front shock mount has broke AGAIN and this time the broken piece and the bolt are gone so there is no welding it back together this time so I have to make a new mount hence the reason for needing to know the axle tube diameter.

Thank you sir. I have a little better idea rather than a standard shock tab. Once I get them made i'll snap some pics. Not sure when i'll get to this project but hopefully monday I can make some progress.

I feel a clamp-on CNC bracket comin' on!

Make sure to post some pics of your brackets. I have the same problem, so I got some brackets from Kert. They weld on to the inner C and the tube. I can't wait to see what you are going to build!

I already have a design that is simple and cheap, but I am sure Scott is going with Bling.:waytogo:
I good way to make a cheap and strong setup would be to get a 2x4, drill a hole in it, cut it in half and bolt it on the tube, and then weld it on.
It will never come off and the welds shouldn't break because they are not the only holding power.
It's how I am making mine.:D

don't laugh... I've seen it, back in the 80's... wood lift blocks.... darwin at work...
