I'm in the process of rebuilding my aprox year 73' thru 80' D60 and after solvent cleaning what looks like the original calipers, the piston bore is kinda pitted from rust. Would like to get loaded new calipers and be done with it. Any one have an openion on good calipers? Autozone brand? Napa brand?

Chevrolet never built a K30 until 1977. I have no brand preference, which ever one is more convenient for me to get to, is the one I choose.

So there was not a D60 before 77'? never knew that, learn something new every day. Thanks man.

I have napa brand on my stepside, but only because a friend gets me deals there. I had them from advance on my m1008 and they worked good too so i guess go what was said convienence.

I found bendix's on ebay and it was somewhere around 30 bucks for both

The local wholesaler has them for $32 for the 77'/78' and the 79'/80' are $35 bucks. Brand I'm not sure yet. Plan on getting them today, they don't have the 77'/78' in stock but only a day to get them.

Thanks guys for the replies.

I will find out tomorrow. The ones we looked at today 79' thru 82' were not the exact same as mine. Guy thinks I have the 77'/78' year D60.

I picked up the calipers, I had to order them cause they did not have the 77'/78' model year in stock, only the 79' to 82'. The only difference I could find was this little lug that sticks out. Mine has it, the later years calipers do not. Maybe the Banjo bolt size might be different too but not sure of that. Word of warning, the later year calipers have the EXACT same casting number as mine but their wrong. Or atleast they DO NOT have this little lug cast into them, it is just a vertical surface.
