d60 carriers

i recently got a d60f and i have a d60hd rear, will the rear 60 carrier swap to the front?

and the rear being a hd, is that carrier stronger and would it be 35 spline, or does the hd mean the housing, as it is beefy w/cast gussets all over it!

Dana 60 carriers are the same front or rear.

The "HD" stamp on your rear D60 has to do with the housing, it still has half ton sized shafts.

it will swap, but the rear is 30 spline for sure.
