Building my 2nd blazer up and got my hands on a D60 and to try and keep wife appeased looking for a more wallet friendly way to do the cross over steering than buying the offroad design kit though that is the way i want to go it maybe something i will have to purchase down the road once i get the truck going just figure there must be some parts i can use off another vehicle to make up the cross-over link

Not really. The dropped pitman arm and steering arm are both aftermarket only. You *might* be able to put something together using ford "y" type drag lik and tie rod but that doesn't get you past the arm issue.

I'd wait and search hard for a used kit.

the cheapest setup I've seen has been 4wheelsupply on pirate. just make sure you get look at the "thick milled" arms. the previous ones didn't account for ackerman. i'm not sure how much just crossover is but I know the full high steer with links was about $400

Actually the "base" ORD crossover kit is a little over $400 and the complete hi steer kit is $800-ish.

The ORD parts are worth waiting for, go used to save some $$.

Yup.
For crossover it doesn't really matter but for high steer no comparison

You can do Histeer/crossover with the 4wheelsupply arms and the tierod for under $400.

There is no reason to pay way more money. Cant see how that is $800.

make sure if you go the crossover from 4wheelsupply. spring for the extra I wanna say $40 and get the matching cap for the drivers side. otherwise you will have one arm with spring and one arm springless.

it probably doesn't matter but why dick with it twice when you can do it all at once.

The best pitman arm out there for guys running less than probably 6" lift comes from a mid '70s to early '80s Ford van at the junkyard. Of course that's only one component.

If you can find a junkyard pitman, make your own draglink, you might be able to get closer to $300. The steering arms are generally the mode expensive part. If you can get a used set, you might be well-off. I personally think springless is the only way to go, and they haven't been popular for as long though.

Yeah I got the WFO springless arms, had a draglink built and the Pitman arm from WFO or ORD, but it was around $300.
