D60 D44 Swap

Ok, my eyes are killing me after reading threads from the search. I have two trucks and I'm thinking about swapping the front axles. One has a D60 (1986) and the other has a D44 (1980).

Is this going to be a bolt-in swap? I'm looking at things like spring mounts, shock mounts, brake lines, drive shaft, steering linkage, etc.

The front 60 will bolt right in.

use the rubber brake lines from the d60 and it'll bolt right in.

I used the same procomp steel lines on mine with no problems.

i have not experienced it myself, but i have read on here about the bolt size in the caliper is different from a d44 to a d60. if your truck had a 10 bolt, it would be the same.
