I need to find a dana 60 drag link, at least that's what I think it's called.
Goes between the knuckles with the adjuster sleeve on it.
My tie rod ends are ok so I can re-use them if you don't have them. Hit a stump and bent it pretty good.

In the Denver/boulder/Longmont area hopefully.

drag link would be from steering box to knuckle.

if so there the same 1/2-1ton.

and you can buy new from parts store's for around 20 bucks I think .

Ok so I do have the name wrong.
I need the one that goes from drivers knuckle to passenger knuckle in front of the axle.

correct wrong info name .

correct tie rod end .

that new will be a bit pricey as a whole unit .

maybe good time to upgrade to a ord beefy unit . that's what I will do next time I need one.

They are less than $50 on Rock Auto. Funny they are just called "tie rod end" even though they have the whole bar. I bought new for my D60 project, still way cheaper than ORD if you don't want to pay $200+. The other consideration is that the ORD ones won't just bolt up to your steering stabilizer. Having said that, I'll upgrade if I ever bend the one I have,

There are other companies besides ORD that sell tie rods. My friend just got his DOM tie rod with ends for I think $120 shipped, I'll have to find out which company he used though

I think it's RuffStuff Specialties sells the DOM tubing, weldable ends, and rod ends. You just need to cut and weld.

Having said that, mine is an ORD .375 wall. I had a camera hanging off the front of my truck one day. I didn't know it till I got home and watched the video. It captured the truck climbing over a rock, except not with the tire but with the tierod and axle. Bent it pretty good. However, it went back to straight and I don't notice a thing. :D

You didn't bend it, you were just testing out how well it could flex. That is the nice thing about metals like steel. They have a large capacity to spring back into shape if you don't over stress them.

Just got back from a trip up to St Marys glacier. I tied the hitch on the blazer to the hitch on my E450 and used the winch to pull as much bend out of the tie rod as I could. It's better but needs to be replaced. I have a steering stabilizer, but it's a ram, welded to the tie rod.
I did crossover a while back, ordered the tubing left threaded on one end, and bought the tap to do the right hand threaded end.
I will probably go that route now. I was hoping to find one locally to slap on for this trip.

Who has the best pricing nowadays for 1 ton tie rod ends and the tubing threaded on one end that I can cut to length?

If it's threaded, it's not very "cut to length" friendly. The tap only goes so far and I found I needed to trim some of the TR shank so it would go in farther.

I still like the RuffStuff inserts. Cut to fit and then weld.
