Has anyone done this?
Any one know if it's feasable?
I know I saw someone make a 14bff 6 lug, so I am guessing there is no reason a D60 couldn't?
:dunno:
I am trying to use the D60 rear and keep 6 lug wheels on my light weight Wagoneer.

It can be done. I have a friend who built a 1936 Willy's with a SBC putting out 1150hp and he used a D60FF rear but it was converted to 5 lug instead of 6 like you're asking. His now has double splined axles though with a drive flange (this was built many years ago).

I wanted to do that too, and have locking hubs for the rear to flat tow it, but now I don't want to tow, and one less thing to break.
So do you know where I can get this done?
And how much?

Doesn't Burt4x4 have a D60 rear, or did he finally swap that out when he did the 1-Ton front axle?? :dunno:

Used to. And it was a 6 lug D60FF you are right.
I tried to buy them from him but he didn't get my message before he sold them.:dunno:
I just want to keep my Waggy light, and all I want is 35" tires for dunes and some light wheeling so a 10bolt or D44 front with a D60 rear in 6 lug with 15" wheels would be nice, Cause I have them :thumb:

A good machine/fab shop can weld up the 8 wheel stud holes, machine down the hub body and redrill a 6 lug pattern. You would have to use 6 lug chevy front rotors and calipers and make some caliper brackets. I have done 5 lug ones.
