D60 front ring gear question

[K85 Octane]

Haven't been able to find the info. Asked a vendor and an EBay member, but nothing.

Wondering if anyone makes a standard rotation, thick cut 4.88 ring and pinion set for a Dana 60? I have a 4.10 size full body locker that's damn near brand new, would like to use 4.88s with it. I've only seen thick cut gears for sale for Ford high pinion reverse set ups.

reg gear and ring gear spacer will work. few guys here have run that setup and no problems.

Fwiw, I've run 5.13's and a spacer on 44's with no issues.

i couldnt find a thick gear for my standard rotation 60. im not 100% sure but i dont think they make one. which is odd because like everyone else is saying they use a spacer and it works fine. so y dont they make a thick gear? but i had a 4.10 carrier,so i just got the cheapest carrier/locker i could find,a full spool.works great!

The spacer is probably why they don't make me. Its easy to do. I have run several spacers on setups I have done, nothing at all wrong with em

Its the opposite problem for 14 bolts if you have a 4.56 and up carrier you need to find a lower carrier.

I have no idea why they do it, probably market demand.
