how do d60 hubs work, i know there is locking ones and ones that dont have the locking hub, i dont get it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The locking ones are just that. Locking and unlocking by turning a knob on the outside. The Ones with now knob are called flanges. They are basically a gear which engage the axleshaft and the hub all the time and never allows them to move indepentenly. The flanges just have a cover over the hub so that dirt and water doesn't get into your bearings.

YUP! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif Not very practical for a dual purpose truck but great for a trali only rig.

This is what the hubs look like.

ok, so my d60 has drive flanges. i can convert it to locking hubs?

sorry for all the questions, this is my dd/trail machine so locking hubs would be nice

All you need to do is remove your Drive flanges send them to me and then go buy yourself some locking hubs and install them. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Or you an just throw them in your spare parts box and when your hubs break you can still throw them in on the trail and go on your merry way.
