D60!!! i got it!

i got the d 60!! went to the junk yard this morning to look for something for something for some of ck5 members. but didnt see nothing they wanted and i glanced to a junk chevy truck with the rearend out and the front axle just sitting in the truck, already apart from the truck, jthe truck sitting on top of it. so i went to check it out, cause its a dually, and it turns out to be a 4x4 dually, my heart beated fast. and its a D60!! I had to have it! went to talk to the guy that owns the place, he looked at it, and say 100. i knew it was a good deal, i planned on givin him 100 but only had 75 bucks so he took it! its all mine now!! and a friend of mine helped me put it in the truck. now its sittin there, i should have flipped it for a better pic, oh well. there was no cab, no nothing, just a dump bed on back. wish i knew the year. i think its a newer model. went over to trevors (skyyk5) to pick up the rims and show up the axle. he and allen i think? forgot the name, say they have never seen a auto locking hubs on a D60. just manual hubs. oh well im happy i got one now, its going srw when i get the parts together. pics included, taken with cell phone.

Awesome deal! If I can find the time and the help to go retrieve it, I'll be able to beat it with a free D60/14BFF combo... Although, I don't know where I'll stash the CUCV frame and cab that are attached to them...

Nice steal. If they have auto hubs the it is probably a 83-84. As far as I know that is the only years the auto hubs were offered.

Find the BOM # located on the axle tube & look it up here

And you prolly could have took those 8 lug turbine rims, I think someone on here was looking for a set?
