sits on the king pin down at the bottom were it bottoms out on inner "c"

anything you wana know on 60. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/60_front/index.html

and 3/4 the way down is the section you picked the picture from possible and just above it there is a old drawing .

the king pin threads in the inner " C " and then this slips over it and seals the bottom area of king pin to knuckle body area to help keep crap out.

all the rest of the parts in the pic you posted are lower king pin parts.

and i put a dab of rtv on the dust cap before putting up in and pressing in the race. seals it good to keep water out . and dome part of dust cap points up to upper section were king pin threads in.

OK thanks, the pic is from Pirate and have used that bible religiously, but didn't want to get trashed for the stupid question!!

I have moog parts for top Part # K6652 and bottom Part # K8832 and that seal is different in the two boxes....which made me believe I was missing something?
You would think that from moog if it was the same seal they would use the same seal, no??
