On the passenger side leaf spring bolt up; what's the best way to fasten the inside of the spring plate? Bolts? Studs?

Would 5/8-11, 3" grade 8 bolt be good enough? Locktite them?

And can you point me in the direction to purchase the hard wear if studs are needed?

There was a big post about this a while back. I run grade 8 bolts on mine. So far so good. You can get the studs when you buy a ubolt kit. Not sure if you can buy them on thier own.

Yes, many people use bolts. I found some GradeB7 studs at the local bolt shop.

I recently went with a kit from BTF that includes new studs. They are long for thick leaf packs. This is mine with 52's up front:

What's the measurement of the fastening device? <----Carefully worded to ward off the pranksters :D :haha: !!

all of them i have played with are grd 5 stock from factory. and i run bolts with neverseize on them as i live in the rust belt. and no problems ever for me. i just install what ever i am puting in for lift. then add top plate. i use a screw driver in to the plate hole untill it hits bottom. i then check the length. and remove about 1/4-1/2 or the length as the holes are tapered at bottom and bolt is flat. never had a problem yet.
