D60 outer axle wear

I'm gathering the parts to rebuild my front D60. There is obvious play in the outer axles at the u-joint. What's the likelyhood that the needle bearing races on the axles are worn, and I'll have to get new shafts?

I wouldn't worry about it. I've never seen spindle bearings that shot. If they are, it'd be a good excuse to go with 35 spine outers...and replace your spindle bearings (they're $8 a side).
