D60 part time to full time.

Just got a deal on a D60 here on ck5 and had one question. This axle is a part time unit but comes without hubs. I have a fulltime NP203 case for now and need to know if I can just hammer in those chrome caps for now or will I need hubs just the same? I'm keeping the fulltime for now and need to get out of this swap cheap. So if I can make the front fulltime for now, that's great. Thanks in advance.

The chrome caps are just that, caps. The fulltime axles have some (not sure what they are called) full time hubs (drive flanges?). Anyway, either find a set of them (Brians60's had some) or get Warn Premiums (at around $200 a set) and keep them locked in.......I just did the conversion on a D60 from full time to Warn hubs - don't think we saved the parts..........I'll check tho.
