Ok, I just bought an '87 GMC 1-ton for 500 bucks :D and it even runs!!!!!! Drove it home tonight 4wd works and everything!

My question is will the D60 from that truck be a direct bolt in under my K5 (spring perches the same width, shock mounts the same, etc....).

I know I could probably just go out and measure that stuff but it is dark and raining right now. Plus, i figured one or two of you have done this before and could give me some insight as to what lies ahead.

Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Jason

Your questions are easily answered with a search but...

The shock mounts aren't really quite right but you can make them work. The perches width is the same. The brake lines and banjo bolts are different.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I was hoping. As long as there is no cutting and welding involved then it's as good as done.

I am searching right now but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Any other advice y'all have to offer would be great.

Thanks,

Jason

I do have a 10 bolt now. Sweet, thanks for the info.

I went from a 3/4T 10 bolt to a D60 and my brake lines were interchangable.

Congrats on the sweet score!
