D60 spindle nut socket

I have the newer key-way style from a 14ff on the front 60 and the rear 14ff. I like being able to use the same socket for the front and the rear axles.

I did the same thing but on mine I put the Dana 60 nuts and lock plate on my 14FF. The pin style sucks to get lined up sometimes but I prefer that style as mine did not have the key only the bendable lock tabs. But one socket for front and rear is def the ticket:D .

I like the pin style better myself, and I never thought of using the same nuts on both front and back spindles. Another great idea I have gleaned from CK5 members, thanks!

I'll let you in on another one. The 14FF carrier bearings, are the same as the inside hub bearings.

Are there enough threads on your 14b axle tube to install the 2 nuts and the lock plate?
