D60, spring plates would this work?

If I drilled the old rear 10blt top spring plates, and fitted them to fit my front D60? /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

<font color="blue">Nope. Theres only 1 u-bolt on a passenger side 60. It may work for the drivers side

Not only that but the U-bolt on the drivers side is 4" inside diameter and the studs are 3" inside diameter. I'm not sure the rear spring plates are large enough.
