I noticed today that "one" of the clanging noises from my front end seems to to be the u bolt/nut combo on my steering stabilizer. Being that this is my first d60, im kinda unsure of what the real setup would be for a D60 w/35's. Does anyone have any pics of what you are running as far as steering stabilizers go? Or maybe any suggestions?

Is a dual even needed?

I dont even have one on mine. its kinda optional.

I didnt run one for a long ass time but got death wobble from time to time so i bolted on a gabriel from auto zone that bolted to the hole that was in my stock tie rod. Worked good but i took it out when i went hydro assist

guess im gonna have to go to crossover first, then see if the stabilizer is even needed....thanks guys

HAHAHAHA....i hear that....but no money means no crossover.... :(

what's the reason for the huge u-bolt holding the spring plate on? also what about the lug nuts holding the steering arm on? is that a lift block on the front axle??

Yikes! Scary!

Yeah. that lift block and ubolt is scary. I would be ashamed to even take a pic like that, let alone post it. The lug nut thing is a little scary too. Lug nuts arn't as hard as the nuts that are supposed to be used. Lug nuts are usually designed to strip before a stud will strip.
