on the crapper...
My axle is all taken apart so I can't use mine. I need the min and max distance from the center of the tie rod to the mounting surface of the cover with the tie rod in the stock (low steer) location. Min distance will be with at full lock left or right, max will be straight ahead.

I need to measure for hydro assist mounting tabs.

TIA :waytogo:

Sounds like something you need to setup once you have the ram and tabs in hand ;)

As for distance from center of tie rod to cover surface, why?

Yeah, I'm always getting ahead of myself. :doah: I want to order a cover from Kert with the tabs already welded on and have it ready to go once the axle is back together (which will take at least a couple more weeks).

The cover surface is just a handy reference point.

I can get you those numbers tomorrow. Got a 60 sitting at the shop now. No cover and no tie rod. Knuckles in place. Can just throw a straight edge to take the place of tie rod center line.
