d70 disc brakes

You may have already noticed but those hubs are 10 lug, just an fyi.

If you can source brackets, rotors and calipers it's easily do-able if you make (or buy Kerts) weld on flanges.

MEK5 did it on a 14 bolt 1st and I've got them on my 70HD. I haven't driven mine yet but I expect the brakes to be pretty good.

nope! missed the whole ten lug thing lol

do you have better pics of the way you put the 60 caliper brackets on the backing plate flange?

Mine is kind of a "special" case, my axle has been narrowed to match a van width 14 bolt (between the flange and hub seal surface). I left the original flange and welded to it a new round flange made from 1/2" plate with the caliper bracket bolt pattern. The thickness of the new flange and the bracket spaced things out perfectly to fit the caliper on the (D60) rotor.

Here's a few pics -

This pic is a good example of welding on one of Kerts flanges in a new spot so the parts line up. This is what you'd need to do on a 70HD otherwise the spacer between the flange and caliper bracket would be about 2.5" thick.

(stolen from the 14 bolt hub on a 70 thread thread)
