Dakota digital VHX dash kit. I got this last year for my build, paid roughly $700 for it. Will come with everything it did new. That is a coolant temp sensor and harness, Oil pressure sensor and harness, VSS sensor and harness, dash control box, and the dash itself. It has silver dial faces, white back lights for the screens and numbers and red light for the needles.

It is in perfect condition. the ODO reads 8400 miles, I'm not sure if you can change that or not. It is a pretty sweet dash full of features, supports all the lights the original dash did and then some. Has a CEL light, cruise control light 4x4, seat belt, all of that jaz. It is also super programmable with what info displays on the screens. It will also output a VSS signal to a pcm if you want it to.

Oh man. My overtime money cant come soon enough :(

If I remember right, I thought I read somewhere that they could set it to whatever millage you want you just had to tell them before they shipped it. I dont see why they couldn't reset it...but then again they may say no because its tampering with millage and in ca I think that's against the law.

My instructions say that you can set it to whatever within the first 100 miles after that its set set. Now I'm sure this is to prevent tampering like you said. But i bet there should be a way to change it after the fact. I know Vapor dashes for motorcycles has this same rule but there is a way to change it if you call and ask.

As for being illegal. It would be illegal to try to pass it off as the lower miles being true miles. but in every state I've been in you can mark on the registration that there is an odometer discrepancy. either its broken, exceeds mechanical limits, or been changed.

Lol yeah. I'm glad you knew what I meant.

So if I had a mechanical speedo..... and a 208 t-case? Do you know if there’s a way to make it work?

What the heck, put me second in line. Just waiting for my pay day.

I need new gauges and in gonna be doing an LS swap so this will fit inline perfect with all that.

So just out of curiosity, how hard is the install on these. Ive looked at a few options and i just hesitate because of the install lol.

Super easy if you aren't afraid to cut your wires. The VSS just screws into the transfer case and you run the wire up into the cab to the dash. The oil and coolant sensors screw into your engine and you run the wires into the the cab to the dash. I made a mount for the controller to mount it where the picture above has it. Then depending on your comfort with wires you either cut off your old gauge plug all at once or do it one wire at a time. Cut the wire off, strip the end, put it in the controller and clamp it down. The pin out for the connector on my 80 is below, I'm not sure if its the same for your truck. The last thing is to mount the two push buttons that control the screens and allow you to change settings on the dash.

The actual dash itself just screws in like the oem one did.

Well...if we are bidding. I’ll go $450 shipped and I am ready today. This is something that I’d normally prefer to be first buyer and I really want the hdx gauges.
