He stopped by with a deal on short 3/8's drive sockets. these are really short ones so I bought the special, buy the metrics and get the standard set free. The new snap-on guy starts next week...I gots some warranty for him

Yeah but the matco guy was in today and I bought an adjuster ratchet for slack adjusters. neat tool it does a slow job fast.

dont it seem like tools are worse them wheeling? every nice tool i see, i must have. i have resorted to paying the snap on man from nside the shop so i dont have to get on the truck. he gets my card, runs it and brings it back to me

by the term slack adjuster im asuming you work on big trucks. not trying to hijack. you like it?

Its okay the shop I work in does lots of maintainence work and zero engine work. So its lots of oil changes and brake jobs. Today I swapped a radiator and put a gasket on a power steering pump. And a heater core all on the same truck.

thats cool. i do the same. but i have been in this for about years and the engine builder teaches me alot. i can do about anythin now including injectors and overheads. thats cool man just think thats cool other that other people dont get burned out of being a mechanic and still has a built truck lol

So the mac guy comes in with a smoking deal yesterday. 13 vicegrips in a tote bag for a $100. Mac brand of coarse. Cha-ching went the truck accountBut my boss bought 2 sets of them.
