A 2 person go cart can't handle 500 cubes and 40" boggers. :D

true. your a smart guy tho, im sure you could figure it out:haha: the power to weight ratio would be awesome, considering that thing probably weighs less than the 500ci caddy

yeah, I pretty much need a center console. The guages, wiring and Art Carr shifter have to have a home! I'm sure I'll be fine at 58". The only rig I have ever wheeled is a non-narrowed K5... which is what? 972357874"? ;) :thumb:

I guess its not to big of a deal if you are just running trails. But down here in rock Texas, its a big deal:D

OK here is a question for everyone.

How dead on....minute rice perfect are your bends. I screwed up the front hoop that I am using for the fenders/hood. One bend is dead on 90 degrees but the other is 92 degrees or so and one side sticks out a little farther that the other. This hoop was over 150" total length and I am out of steel that long so I am stuck with this piece. I have already tacked it in pretty good and I don't want to cut it out if I don't have to. You really can't tell unless you really line it up with something.

:hack: Man, I read the title and thought someone was talking spit about sawzalls  !! I was all prepred to lash out and say how great the sawzall is and only thing I use to cut that I like better is a plasma cutter. Its cool!! :weld:

Die grinder with a cutoff wheel does a damn good job...

Dude beleive me just cut the tacks... not hard and wouldn't you rather have a symetricatrical cage? You might even be able to just heat it up and let it cool... the heat will pull it back.

Update on me? How about an update on your rig too!!

I had a few...um...setbacks with my cooling system when my sawzall slipped and went through the radiator.:doah: Other than that I am trying to get it running so I can back it in the garage and finish the driver side tube. So I am down to the nickle and dime crap that takes for ever and drains the funds.

92% done.

99% done

Took it for spin around the block. Nice power and torque but the truck avenger seems to load up a bit from 1000-2000 rpm. In 4:1 you can really feel the power. I removed the front and bent up a different style and should have it done tomorrow. I need to clean up the patch panels and cap the ends of the rockers and control arm crossmember then grind down and all my crap welds, paint it and then take a night to finish all the little odds and ends.
