Anybody know if this might happen to be the case? I'm guessing that the 208 has multiples more splines than the 20, but just thought there might be a possibility. Am I better off looking for a np205 front shaft?

The 208 front output is 32 spline. I don't know what the D20 is, but I'd be willing to bet it's 10 spline. What are you trying to do?

I have a np208 front driveshaft and a Dana 20 transfer case that I'm trying to breed. 
Truck isn't here at my house otherwise I'd check for myself.

Call High Angle in the morning; I don't think anyone makes a flat flange yoke in a 10 spline.
You might be better off swapping to a 205.

High Angle is nowhere near being in the budget for this truck...I'll just find a cheapo standard yoke shaft. Just trying to work with what I've got before I go buying more stuff.
