Ok, im working on the Willys wagon im building for my dad, it is now running a 89 Wagoneer dana 44 in the front. I have a flat top knuckle from a gm 44 that I will be using to do cross over steering and also have the matching left side knuckle as well. My question/ problem, when dissasembling the axle (the jeep 44) we found that apparently the spindle threads had been stripped and some one welded the nuts to the spindle:doah: so I need to replace it now. The hubs were also none selectable on the Jeep so im just going to grab spindles, and hubs from the local p n p. Can I use 10 bolt stuff or do I need to stay with 44 parts? This is staying 6 lug and I have a set of selctable hubs floating around for it already, and does anyone know if the stub shafts would be different from the waggy axle since it used a drive slug instead of lock outs ?
Thanks :waytogo:

It's all the same parts. Those use Chevy outer stubs and spindles. So 10b stuff would work

Sweet  I thought so but wanted to double check, 10 bolts are everywhere but older 44's only tend to be in the more expensive yards around here.
