Dana 44 eight lug knuckles?

I converted my k5 to 8 lug about two years ago. Now I'm ready for hy steer. All the knuckles I find have 6 studs on them, is this standard or do I need to find 8 lug knuckles or do they even exist. Probably a stupid question but my wife has been driving the k5 and I'm too lazy to remove parts to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your just going to use the knuckle, you'll swap the spindle out to your new knuckles. also, my k20 1970(71 drivetrain) had flat tops.

Chevy has 6 spindle studs, Ford has 5. Make sure you keep it 6 for simplicity.

Both the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton knuckles have six studs on them.

And they use different shafts and I think they might not even be flat top.

Just find any set of D44 knuckles from a chevy, they are the same, six studs holding the spindle on.
