Ok I know theres and article somewhere explaining exactly how to do it but I cant find it. I just pickup a dana 44 for the front of my truck and it has full time hubs on it right now from a 70's truck that had a 203 in it.

What do I have to do to put manual hubs on it? I have a brand new pair of warn manuals in my shed.

What are you putting this in? Do you have a P/T transfer case already or is the F/T 203 what you are running?

What transfer case you have is important

When we converted our 77 Jimmy to manual hubs with a 203 case, we had to make some changes inside the transfer case. We used a Mile Marker kit which included everything--including the hubs, but I don't think the hub brand makes a difference. The entire conversion was quite simple and Mile Marker's instructions were pretty good.

The write up is pretty detailed. You don't have to take the rotor/hub off. It's not a bad idea to do and inspect/pack the bearings.

You can start with the step after the "Drive Dog" to install the Warn.

The tear down is easy. Pull the chrome caps off the ends of the hubs.
Remove the snap-ring (metal) that runs around the hub itself - (good pic of it in the section showing how to put it back together)
Remove the slugs
Remove the springs
Throw it back together using the Warn hubs following the instructions provided.

You're done.

I kinda figured I should do the outer bearings and b-joints while I have it on a bench. Seems stupid not too...

Have a link to a balljoint, bearing, races, seals kit?

PS: Whats a good outer overhaul link?

I had a shop do my ball joints while it was getting crossover milling done. Anything else I picked up from Napa and/or Autozone.
