I just purchased an 86' K5. I am trying to research and figure out what I have so I can get the correct parts to rebuild or replace with what is needed. I have 2 front differentials that I believe are both Dana 44's here is all the casting numbers i can find on each. Any and all advice or help is appreciated. I am trying to determine what these are, gear ration, interchangeability, recommended upgrade or parts.

1) all on the long tube : 8 20 0 A 4 8-21 0A8 603150 9
2) 603374

Yes, I have tried searching older threads and have an idea but trying to see if anyone can help clarify 100% (newbie here)

86 should be a 10bolt
From the knuckles out, they are the same as a Dana 44 back to 1973. Pre-1973. The tie rod went from the other side of the knuckle.

Does it have what may look like two little ears on the bottom side of the pumpkin?

603150-9 should be the BOM number. Best info I can find is actually on this site here:
I don't have PDF's of newer Dana Spicer axles so i've got no info on this one myself.

603374 is one of these:

Since it looks like you have axles from other year models then your Blazer pictures will help identify things much better so you don’t waste time and effort on wrong parts.

And welcome aboard !
