i am installing superwench hubs on my 81 blazer and i dont know were the c clips go do i put one on with the trust washer and one after the first piece before the outer hub.

There should only be one c clip. Its the last thing to go on before the face of the hub. A snapring goes on the axle shaft and the c clip goes in the inside wall of the hub right infront of the hub gear.

ya it goes thrust washer snapring hub c clip then outer hub then screws my quistion is do i need two snap rings one on back of axle and one in front after the first piece of hub

No sir you do not need two snap rings.

You only need the one on the very end and you dont really even need that. The c-clip does it all.

thanks thats how i put it back together one more quistion should there be any slop after i put the c clip in.I can move the first piece of the hub in and out about a 1/8 of a inch.I have superwench hubs and i have tried warns they dont fit.
