dana 44 knuckle guestion??

If you have flat top knuckles, you can drill and tap them to accept a steering arm. The steering arm can have two holes reamed into it to accept both a draglink and a tie rod (for high steer).

I really wouldn't recommend high steer on a 44 unless you like hearing your knuckles go *pop*

lemme explain the situation better...

the knuckles i have on the truck now are non flat top...

i have a set of flat tops...i just sent the pass side out to get it milled and tapped

i would like to reuse my drivers knuckle cause i just put ball joints in it...but the tie rod mounts from the bottom on the knuckle

on a flat top it mounts from the top...

i would like to try to get away with keeping that knuckle on the truck and selling the other flat top for the drivers side

i have heard of re tappering for the top and adding a 60 tie rod for more strength without high steer..

you see what im getting at now...

pop the ball joints out of that knuckle and press them into the mating knuckle for the flat top.
