Dana 44 knuckles

Hi, Was wondering if dodge flat top Dana44 knuckles from say a 83 Ramcharger will interchange with a 77 chevy Dana44?

They will but you need to transfer everything else too (hubs, brakes, etc.) and IIRC Ramchargers have a 5 lug bolt pattern which will probably not work for you.

yea they have the caliper brackets cast into the knuckle. don't know if you could grind them off or not. need to look at mine and see.

OK..closer inspection of the picture does show cast caliper brackets. Kinda thought they look a wee bit different. Thanks for the info guys.

Think i'll keep looking for chevy 44 knuckles.

There's a pair on ebay set up for high steer if anybody needs Dodge knuckles.
